Who are Les Louises ??? It’s a group specially formed for Saint-Boniface célèbre !!! They are singers and songwriters. The group is composed of Ariane Jean ( alias Sala), Andrina Turenne, Sarah Dugas and Annick Brémault ( alias Aloysius Bell). Don’t miss the unique opportunity to see these artists together for a special evening! These former members of the music collectives Chic Gamine, Rudimental, Madrigaïa, Power Of Us (POU) and the Beat Raves, who have been together forever, will be performing their favourite Manitoba songs as well as their own compositions on June 24th. Les Louises, who see themselves as the feminine and teasing answer to the “Bosses d’la colonie”, the Louis Boys – the doyens of the Franco-Manitoban music scene – will be joined by their star band for a show filled with harmonies, nostalgia, joie de vivre and celebration! Andrina Turenne is a Franco-Manitoban Métis artist from Saint-Boniface. A singer, songwriter and musician, she has been in the music business for over 20 years. Annick Brémault, also known as Aloysius Bell, is a singer-songwriter born in Saint-Boniface. She draws her inspiration from books, art in all its forms, snippets of conversations caught in passing, her life and that of others. Sala alias Ariane Jean, is calm, delicate. Intimate, sometimes melancholic, she creates from atmospheres and moods that she translates into images. We can hear influences of indie pop, world music and ambient music. Her voice is dynamic, expressive, acrobatic, soulful, moving and sincere. Sarah Dugas has been dazzling critics and audiences for several years now.
